He's got a son and two daughters who missed their dad. He's got grandchildren that will never know their grandfather.

A couple weeks before he went missing, I know this may sound kind of funny. I've noticed some things that I've went through in my life. I've been going through a lot of change.

And there was something I don't, I can't tell you what or how. But I felt something inside me that something bad was going to happen to my father.

And I don't know where it came from. And I was scared of death.

47 year old David Callenberger disappeared on March 15, 2016.

He had left his home in Lafayette, Indiana on his motorcycle and was headed to Florida to visit with his sister.

At 3.20pm that day, a state trooper came upon David, broken down on highway 65 in the area of Franklin, Indiana.

The trooper asked David if he needed help, but David told him that he had already called for assistance.

Hours later, the trooper passed through the area again. David's motorcycle was still there, but there was no trace of David.

Various other people had witnessed David in the area that day, but where he went after and what happened to him remains a mystery.

David's story is full of twists and turns, but before we get into that, I wanted to share more about David as a person.

We spoke to David's daughter Ashley and his sister Kimberly for this story. Ashley told us more about her father.

I can tell you what kind of person my dad is. Growing up as a child for me, my dad is a great dad.

Absolutely wonderful. He is a very affectionate and loving when it comes to his children. He is just the best dad ever because he just talks to you about everything.

As a kid, I used to get so annoyed with it because he would just repeat and repeat his self and it's like, God, why are you telling me this?

I love it so much because now I use it every day and I laugh about it and I'm like, God, that was so useful.
