You know, in so many of your books, you define what it means to be a witch so beautifully.

And I was wondering if you could start us off by sharing this definition with our listeners.

Oh dear God, I have no idea what I said. What did I say?

I... you know, to me, I think being a witch, first of all, it's a really broad term.

If you... are in a room full of witches, every single one of them will have a slightly different definition of what they believe in the path that they follow and what it is that...

you know, how they view the world.

The things they tend to have in common is this attunement with nature and attraction to nature.

You know, witchcraft is considered to be a nature-based religion for those who call it a religion instead of a spiritual path either way.

And often involves a belief in both a goddess and a god or multiple goddesses and gods instead of just one male deity and a belief in the power of magic.

However, you want to define that as some sort of energy in the universe that you can tap into and use to create positive change.

Is that about what you remember me saying in other places?

Yes, that is beautiful. I love how all-inclusive your definitions always are of this topic.

So I have a question. In goddesses is in the details. You talk about your journey from Judaism, which I gather was your childhood heritage.

Yep, I'm a Jew because when you are born a Jew, you are always a Jew and I'm very, very proud of the heritage.

I just did not click with me as a religion.
