leader recorded live in Manchester.

I'm absolutely delighted to be joined by a stellar panel of times columnists

Matthew Paris, Hugo Rifkin and Rachel Sylvester to answer what should be a

very straightforward simple question who will lead the to the Conservatives next? After what

happened in the general election this year, the general election where Theresa

may was going to sweep all before her, secure a majority not seen on earth in history and of course that's not how it panned out.

She then, everybody assumed it would be resigned the next day and didn't.

And each day she's there it seems like she gets a bit stronger.

So who will be the next leader and I think we'll probably end up coming on to when will that happen as well?

And is there any possibility that Theresa May could end up leading the Conservatives into the next election.

So, Matthew, let's start with you.

With the straightforward question, who do you think will lead the Conservatives next?

Well, I don't think anybody is going to have the guts to challenge at the moment.

There are so many reasons why they don't want to do that.

So it would only be in the collapse of the government and the collapse of cabinet discipline

that this could happen, faced perhaps with a vote of no confidence.
