What's up everyone out there? How are you doing? Today's episode is just a

freestyle so I wanted to I guess it's a rant I don't really want to call it that though

it's basically a little discussion that I want to have with you on the podcast.

So I was browsing around on my Instagram feed, which is just at epic gardening.. I like to connect one to one with a lot

of gardeners over there. It's a lot easier than the podcast, although I love all of you, of course,

it's just hard to talk one-on-one because you can't hit reply to a podcast like you can to a

picture. Anyways I saw someone post in my feed about how they quote-unquote

cheated by growing with seedlings, seed darts, rather than growing from seed.

And how they felt so bad about that and how other gardeners said that you know you're less of a gardener because you didn't grow from seed.

And to that I say that's just total nonsense.

Like it couldn't be more nonsensical to my ears.

I heard it and I was like, what is entering my ears right now?

It makes zero sense to be.

Listen, and you know, I'm sure all of you listening to this already know this, but to be high and mighty about gardening is silly.

We're all here to grow plants. We're all here to enjoy the beauties of nature, cultivating nature, enjoying freshly grown food,

however you decide to grow it.

I don't really feel that these competitions, if you want to call them that of who's more organic or who's more of a knowledgeable gardener than the other,

who's more skilled at gardening really matters at all. What it boils down to is how do you

want to grow plants and how are you going to achieve your goals? You know, I know people listening to

this podcast right now who want to grow a couple herbs on a balcony

so they can throw some chives and basil into their morning omelet.

And that's it. And they don't even care about too much more than that.
