Summary

This is not my usual sort of podcast :) This is a debate. The second debate I've had on this channel. And the last one (about sugar and fat burners) got a great response so I figured I'd publish this one, as well. Quick backstory. A few weeks ago I was Tweeting about Menopause and how it affects fat loss. A very kind young woman from Australia, Eloise, Tweeted back saying she doesn't think men have the right to discuss something they've never had nor will ever go through. I asked if she'd be willing to hop on the phone and chat about it with me and she graciously accepted. So. I don't want to spoil any of it so here's the debate in-full.  Un-cut and uncensored. Enjoy ;) -J

Welcome back to the JordanSci at many podcasts. Thank you so much for listening. In this episode,

0:11.6

I have another debate because the last debate I did got a great response and that was on

0:16.4

whether or not sugar makes you fat and whether or not fat burners actually work. Now this debate,

0:21.7

it's a little bit of a different topic, but I'm interested to hear what you think. And just to

0:26.5

give you the long and the short of it, I was on Twitter and I was speaking about menopause and fat

0:32.9

loss and a young woman by the name of Eloise who lives in Australia, she replied and she said

0:39.6

something to the effect of, do you think it's appropriate for you to be discussing menopause,

0:45.6

especially if you are a man and you'll never go through it? Now I thought it was an interesting

0:51.2

point and personally I feel like an individual's gender shouldn't dictate whether or not they can

0:58.3

have an educated opinion on a certain topic, but I thought it was worth discussing and having an

1:03.2

open discussion so that you can hear it and you can hear my thoughts as well as as well as

1:07.7

Eloise's thoughts and then we can have a discussion about it as well. So I hope you enjoyed the podcast.

1:12.7

Thank you so much Eloise for getting on the phone and speaking with me and I will talk to you soon.

1:21.2

Eloise. Hi, how are you? I am amazing. How are you? Yeah, good. Oh my god, your accent is so strong.

1:36.3

It's so funny. I love the Australian accent. So it's like, you never think of yourself having an accent.

1:42.8

No, no, you have one. Oh my god, yeah, you have a super strong one. I love it though. I think the

1:49.2

Australian accent is like, it's one of my favorites. That one and then like the Cockney British accent.

1:55.2

I love to. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But yeah, no, I'm glad to be here. Yeah, I'm excited to answer.

2:01.2

Yeah, what we're going to talk about in the metaphors. Yeah, before we even go into it, I just want to say a huge thank you.

2:10.2

It's it's relatively easy to have conversations with people that you agree with. It's

2:16.2

yeah, it's not easy. It's significantly more difficult to go into a conversation in which you are

2:23.6

almost sure you're going to be having disagreement. But I sincerely appreciate and respect you
