We are in the studio today with Anna Sale, who I'm really looking forward to introducing to you all later.

But before we get started, I wanted to give you some

general advice, which is that if you are the parent of a minor, I advise you not to attempt to parent

through the legal system by suing your child. Um, that's not a piece of advice I thought that I would have to give on this show.

But for those of you who have been following the news out of Minnesota, recently, you may be aware that there is a woman who is suing her 17-year-old transgender daughter who has been living independently of her mother, working two jobs,

paying her own bills, and generally taking care of herself. She's suing her daughter,
