So I'm really excited that that's how we walked on stage today.

I am Mallory Orpurg, also known as Dear Prudence.

I am joined today by Samantha Powell, an esteemed guest of the show.

We're joining you today from the Now Here This Podcast Festival in Anaheim, which is the one thing I had to remember to say today for the recording.

And now I've said it and I feel good.

And I just want to let everyone listening to the show later that we are at like a quarter capacity in this room, which means stuff's going to get real and stuff's going to get in depth.

And we're just going to get to like bear our souls to each other, which I'm actually like

pretty jazzed about. So thanks to all of you guys for for making it. Oh, I'm so excited. I've

never done a live show before. We have a bunch of questions that we're going to read through

together and fight about on the stage. And then if we have time, which I think we will,

if anyone in the audience has questions, we will do our best to adjudicate all of your personal
