caucuses we did our coverage last night from here it was in Iowa for the weekend

I'll be heading to New Hampshire coming up in a couple of days. And well, you gotta ask this question.

Is this primary season about to end

just as it was getting started.

Donald Trump's victory in Iowa was all-encompassing.

He pretty much got the exact result,

if he could have, if he could have dictated what his result was.

Over 50% and DeSantis and Haleia just in second and third

in that order with the Santis narrowly edging her out. It gives nobody

a bump out of Iowa outside of Trump. But more importantly it was what you saw of who showed up to vote and it's not this isn't

it's not just that Donald Trump is dominant inside the Republican Party.

It's that Donald Trump has changed the Republican Party

to his image.

So he's winning a primary of the Trump party essentially he's no longer fighting for

to run the Republican Party he's already running the Republican Party and he's now changed it.

What's interesting to me is the fact that he is considered the very conservative candidate.

By the definitions of conservatism that I grew up with, he is not a Reagan

conservative. He is not a Paul Ryan conservative, and George W Bush conservative.

How conservatism was defined, at least by the Republicans that were running for office and certainly even by the academics and the think tanks

on the right side of the aisle they all defined it in a way that questioned

whether Donald Trump was really a conservative.
