| 1:48.0 | All right. So first I think it's important to point out that burnout is not just in your head. What I do also want you to think about is that burnout and depression are closely related. |
| 1:59.0 | So let's talk about some of the signs of burnout. You can have burnout related to people your life. You can have exercise burnout. |
| 2:07.0 | But in general, signs of burnout include difficulty sleeping, quick to anger, a feeling of being close-minded and feeling less effective. |
| 2:17.0 | So for example, if you're experiencing burnout at work, you know you're just you're not doing your best anymore. |
| 2:24.0 | Or if you're experiencing burnout at the gym, like you're training as hard as you can, but it's just not giving you results. |
| 2:31.0 | Now depression on the other hand is a feeling a sense that that mood just never leaves you. |
| 2:38.0 | You feel a lack of interest of joy of energy. And this goes on for days and days for at least two weeks for most experts to consider it depression. |
| 2:51.0 | The consequences of burnout are pretty serious when someone is feeling burnt out and they can't put their finger on it. |
| 2:57.0 | But this is when people quit their jobs or give up on a business that's got great potential, leave marriages or just feel like giving up just like throwing in the towel. |
