Summary

I've shared many experiences with you all including my struggles with anxiety.  I think it's important to be transparent and real with each other.  We need to know that we are not alone. Anxiety is real and it can come in all different forms for many different reasons.  This is why it's crucial that we can get ahold of TRUTH and truth is found ONLY in God's Word and by His Spirit. Today I'm sharing my most recent experiences with anxiety with the perspective that God is giving right along with it. I was strongly compelled to tell my story that your heart might be encouraged as well.  Scriptures shared: Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG Bible) Psalm 131:1 2 Corin. 10:4,5 John 10:10 Psalm1:1-3 Jeremiah 17:7,8 James 1:2-8 Unhurried Grace for a Mom's Heart-Devotional for Moms (Amazon) The Unhurried Homeschooler Mentoring Course

Hey, everyone. Welcome to this week's podcast. I am so thankful that you're here today. I really just

0:18.2

appreciate the time that I get to spend with you each week,

0:22.4

sharing my heart with you because, you know, I pray a lot about what God would have me to talk about.

0:28.8

And he's so faithful to give me direction. But often, as you've noticed, that has involved being very transparent when it comes to my

0:40.6

own life and what's going on with me because I think it's important for us to be real with

0:45.3

each other. So today, I'm going to be talking about living by faith in a toxic world. I'm not

0:51.9

actually sure that that's going to end up being the title. But when I tell

0:55.4

my story, and by the end of this podcast, you'll understand why I might title it that. Before I jump

1:03.8

into the topic, I just want to remind you if you haven't read my simple, mercifully short book on

1:08.5

homeschooling, go check it out on Amazon. It's called

1:11.0

the Unhurried Homestroller. And I think you'll be really encouraged. I also want to remind you

1:16.8

that my mentoring course is open indefinitely for enrollment. So if you are looking for encouragement

1:23.9

like you find here at the podcast, but more specifically for slowing down and having

1:28.9

a more unhurried approach in your homeschooling. This mentoring course has got eight workshops and

1:35.8

a community, a private Facebook community with tons of support. And I pray with the moms every

1:41.3

week on Mondays. So go check it out. I'll leave the link in the podcast notes.

Now, if you've been listening for a while, you might remember about a year ago, maybe a little

1:53.0

less, I shared with you that I was having some health issues. And I was really thinking it was

2:00.2

hormones, which I think that is a big piece of it.

2:03.6

And, but it was really affecting me. We just made a big move. I think my adrenals were fatigued.

2:08.1

If you know anything about that, I think that was a piece of that as well and continues to be.

2:12.8

But I was pretty discouraged and experiencing a lot of anxiety. And I would like to tell you that
