and today we are talking about a little thing that came out on HBO this weekend

Deadwood the the movie, the long-awaited conclusion to the

unfinished Deadwood series written in show-ran by one David Milch, and starring Ian McShane and to meet the

aliphant among many many others.

Boy I tell you what I, man I don't even wear to begin on this well actually let us because we need to be a little

bit up front this is a kind of an unusual thing for bald moody me doing because neither you nor I have

seen all of Deadwood before.

True.

But this was such a huge event, and this is such an esteemed show,

and I'd seen a good chunk of justified,

or Jesus Christ, I'm gonna do this a lot.

I've seen a good chunk of that as well.

A good chunk of Deadwood and justified, which is an alternate universe version of Deadwood,

where you're not allowed to say the C word, and people were clamoring for it

so if you don't like our review you got nobody to blame but yourself or

clamoring for it the clamors

uh... but i think you guys are gonna like it because because because I think Jim and I both really like this movie

Do you want to talk about your relationship with Deadwood or you know how you approached it or where what you'd heard it, how far you got, whatever.

Yeah, so I had always heard Deadwood is one of the all-time great television

shows and there were no qualifications on that. It was just one of the best ever but I'd never seen it and I knew that it was a few seasons

long and I knew that it got cancelled before its time and so it didn't have a good satisfactory ending so I was not keen to go back and watch it because I don't like stories that you know kind of die out in the middle
