India's aircraft accidentigation Bureau has launched a formal investigation into the deadly crash of an Air India flight in Amnabad.

That's according to India's Union Minister of Civil Aviation, and aviation officials from the

US and UK are also sending investigators to assist with the probe.

Indian government officials have said a former chief minister of the Gujarat state in India,

of which Emnabad is the largest city, is among those feared to have died.

Currently, the death toll stands at 294, which includes passengers and crew on the plane and people on the ground.

There is at least one survivor who the Hindustan Times named as Vishwash Kumar Ramesh.

Reuters reported he was in C-11A.

Shivani Raja, a British member of parliament in Leicester, where Ramesh's family lives, told CNN his survival is,

quote, nothing short of a miracle.

Democratic Senator Alex Padilla of California was forcibly removed today from a news conference

with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noem.

For the secretary, because the fact that the matter is half a dozen violent criminals

that you're rotating on your hands off.

Noam was speaking to reporters at the Los Angeles headquarters of the FBI when Padilla

attempted to shout questions at the secretary.
