When an oil boom hits the state, a few bad men descend on the bad lands. It was a modern-day gold rush out there.

With that comes a lot of people with checkered pass.

James Hendrickson is the baddest of them all.

He lived his life like Caligula.

I mean, he just wanted to lay waste to everything and everyone.

In his drive to make a killing,

Hendrickson will do anything to eliminate the competition.

Basically anyone that ever crossed James

or that he thought could sink him,

he wanted to have killed.

There's been shot.

A man just taking our house and shot by him, but.

He certainly gets an A for effort in terms of being a serial murderer.

But when this arrogant mastermind hires a sloppy hitman, his budding empire comes crashing down.

We always say you can't make this stuff up.

I was like, you sons of bitches, man.

Who do you think you are?

Like, who do you think you are?

To come up to North Dakota and to rip people off like you have and then to just kill people.
