Summary

This week I have the pleasure of presenting this second set from the band's performance at the Greek Theater in Berkeley California on September 11, 1981. They are energized throughout.. the opening Stranger builds until they go into a unique 'Franklin's Tower'. Garcia is firing here. Things calm a bit with the 'Man Smart, Woman Smarter' but the 'He's Gone' that follows is first rate. Check out the jam at the end of 'Truckin' for some wonderful jamming into Drums. Post-drums is equally enjoyable with a fine 'Other One' leading into a great 'Morning Dew'. The 'Johnny B Goode' set closer seems appropriate..

0:09.0	It's the continuation of the band's performance at the Greek Theater,

0:20.0	It starts out pretty pedestrian at first, and then Jerry really takes over and makes something out.
0:24.6	It really shines. It goes into a great Franklin's Tower.
0:27.6	Again, Jerry makes this one really go, really, really enjoy this one.
0:33.6	Man Smart Women Smarter follows. Then he's gone.
0:36.6	Again, the band's got a lot of energy
0:39.2	here. Jerry has a great vocals on this one. Into trucking. The trucking is rather pedestrian, I think,
0:45.7	until the end. And then there's a great jam into drums and space. A fine other one comes out of
0:51.4	space into a wonderful morning due.
0:57.0	Into a set closing, Johnny Be Good.
0:57.5	They do it. Don't ease me in.

0:59.8	And I'm quite sure that although this is an audience tape that you'll enjoy it.
