Summary

This week we feature the second set from the performance on June 22, 1976 near Philadelphia PA.

Again, an unusual opener, with a jazzy 'Playin' going into an intense 'Space Jam' - this one featuring the 'Happiness is Drumming' themes that later developed into 'Fire on the Mountain'. 'The Wheel' follows, with its own spacy elements, including some great Phil riffs, before going back into the 'Playin' reprise. The 'Samson' is strong, and the 'Eyes' pretty speedy for this period. The remainder of the show features some nice rocking - 'Dancin', 'Around and Around' and a great 'Goin' Down the Road' into 'Saturday Night'..

0:07.2	This week we're going to hear the second set from the band's performance.
0:10.0	On June 22, 1976 at the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania,
0:16.0	second set starts out with a really quite a monster plan in the band.
0:19.6	This one now is really quite good.
0:22.0	It has, it goes for about almost nine minutes and it goes into a cool jam.
0:27.1	It's kind of happiness is drumming jam, which is the prototype of the fire on the mountain.
0:33.0	And then that goes into a straight, a little bit more jamming and then into the wheel,
0:37.5	which the wheel is quite spacey as well.
0:40.8	Then they go back into a plane in the band reprise.
0:43.2	That is notable in itself.
0:45.4	Samson and Delilah follows quite muscular, very nicely done.
0:49.5	A great eyes of the world, very uptempo, into dance in the streets.
0:53.4	A round and a round goes into going down the road, feeling bad, into one more Saturday night
0:57.2	to close the second set.
1:00.6	I don't have an encore, I don't know if they did one or not.
1:03.5	However, nevertheless, this is a great second set.
