Hello, I'm local to the Deadpod for the week of February 7th, 2025. This is a professor, so glad you could pick us up this week.

This week I'm bringing you, again, another audience tape. I think this is a pretty fine, the first set as an audience tape of this show.

Pretty fine recording. It comes to us from Golden Hall in San Diego, California, February the 19th, 1982. Really nice set, I think. It starts out with

nice Bertha and the greatest story ever told. A sparkling dire wolf, little red rooster follows,

men a brown-eyed women, which is really nicely done. Cassidy, Candyman into El Paso, Althea,

and then they close a set unusually with New Minglewood Blues.

You'll find that Jerry's leads are up front in this. The vocals are a little bit behind, but

nevertheless, I loved hearing the separation on this tape so clearly, and Garcia is playing

so forcefully. It's beautiful. Hope you enjoyed as much as I do. I want to thank you for picking us up this week and

for your support of the Deadpod. I couldn't do it without you.
