Summary

Whoa! Another 2 hour plus Deadpod this week as we explore the second set of the band's performance at Duke University in Durham North Carolina on December 8, 1973.

This massive second set contains both its share of standard tunes and psychedelic moments. They start out with some standard rockers - 'Around and Around' 'Ramble On Rose', 'El Paso'. (but don't miss the fun introduction with Phil and Bob).

Things really get interesting with the jam from 'Truckin' into a fine 'Nobody's Fault' jam'. Jerry takes us on a visit to the outer limits with the jam that finally disolves into 'The Other One'. The music disolves into a sweet 'Wharf Rat' and if that weren't enough a fine 'Stella Blue'.

You'd think the 'Johnny B Goode' that follows would signal the end of the show, but Jerry isn't having it and they go into a nice 'Uncle John's Band'.

0:22.1	standardly around and around Ramlon Rose, El Paso, a nice row, Jimmy.

0:30.0	Then we get into this real heart of this second set.
0:32.2	He's gone into trucking and trucking has a really nice jam to it.
0:36.2	Into a nobody's fault but mine jam, this is probably one of the better ones of the year.
0:40.7	Then it goes into the real psychedelic heart of this set.
0:45.1	Some great jamming into that finally goes into the other one.
0:48.8	The other one has some intense jamming at an almost reminiscent of some of the more space
0:56.0	year jams of that year and the next year.
1:00.4	It goes into a nice war fret, which flows into Stella Blue.
1:05.3	The band concludes the set with a Johnny Begood in the Uncle John's band
1:09.3	with the one more Saturday night encore fittingly because it was a Saturday.
