Summary

This week's Deadpod features a set from the Fall tour of 1976. If you're not familiar with this period I think you'll enjoy this week's selection, which comes from Market Square Arena, in Indianapolis Indiana.

This is a fine set, in my opinion, which really gets going once they hit 'Deal'. The 'Cassidy' is no slouch and 'Big River' rocks as usual. The highlight of the set is probably the stand-alone 'Scarlet Begonias' which leads us into the set closing 'Promised Land'

Set 2 next week is no slouch!

0:03.8	professor, so glad you picked us up this week. I was considering a number of
0:08.4	shows this week, but I decided to go with this one. It's a really nice show
0:12.5	from the fall of 1976, which is an excellent tour. I had a request for the
0:18.9	Detroit show, which is unfortunately already released on the 30 trips around
0:22.8	the sun, but this show is equally good. It comes to us from Market Square Arena
0:26.8	in Indianapolis, Indiana. The first of October, 1976. We'll hear the first set
0:32.1	this week and set two next week. It starts out with Bertha. There's a little cut
0:35.7	right at the beginning, but it doesn't bother me too much. Mama tried follows
0:38.9	it. A smoking deal. A great version of Cassidy follows that. Friend of the
0:42.8	devil. Big river is smoking. Big brown-eyed women follows. It's all over
0:47.0	down. The highlight of the set is really fine-scarlet-begonious.
0:50.4	They close with a rock and promised land. I hope you enjoy it. I know I did
0:56.3	and I'm looking forward to set two next week. So thanks for picking us up this
