Summary

While I played this show, unbeknownst to me, ten years ago on the Deadpod, I am still going to present the wonderful second set this week. This show, from Indianapolis on October 1, 1976, features a sweet second set. While a 'Might As Well' opener might not signal such a beauty, the 'Samson' that follows quickly convinces that we are in a for a treat. Great interplay throughout from Jerry and Phil. When the 'Help>Slip>Frank' that follows gets rolling the band hits on all cylinders. I especially love Keith's contribution in the great 'Slipknot!' jam here. A somewhat short 'Dancin' goes into an even shorter 'drums' but 'The Wheel' that follows is sweet. Following 'Ship of Fools', Bobby attempts to go back into 'Dancin' in a very unusual jam, but the boys move into a 'Goin' Down the Road' into 'Saturday Night' to end the set.

0:19.0	Unusual placement for it perhaps, but it's okay.
0:22.0	Samson and Delilah that follows though is exquisite and done very well.

0:34.0	I think you'll find that the jam and slip knot in particular is very well done.

0:42.0	Following that is dancing in the streets into drums, short drums into the wheel,

0:50.0	Ship of foibles follows and then they go with a bobby leads them.
0:53.0	It tries to lead them back into a dancing in the streets.
0:56.0	Dakota does the last too long, but then it goes into going down the road,
0:59.0	feeling bad into one more Saturday night.
1:02.0	They then do a U.S. blues encore to end the set.
1:06.0	I think you'll enjoy this one.
1:08.0	I think follow 76 is a fine show.
1:11.0	One but notes to me I played this almost 10 years ago and enjoyed it then.
