Well, today, if you have your Bibles, John chapter 20, this Easter, I'm going to bring to you a message

and hopefully help you to see that this changes everything. That's the heartbeat today. This, this story,

this Easter message, this reality of the resurrection, this changes. What does it change?

Everything. Changes everything. John 20, one of the four

Gospels, let's look at what happened on that first day of the week, which is why we gather,

by the way, as the church on Sunday, it has never become the new Sabbath. Some people talk

about Sunday as the Sabbath. Saturday has always been and continues to remain to be the Sabbath

Sunday didn't become the new Sabbath. Sunday, the first day of the week, became the day that

celebrate the resurrection. So the reason the church, for the last 2,000 years, has assembled

and gathered to worship Jesus on Sunday is because every week it's a chance to say, God, thank you

for Easter. I know we have once a year we carve out

in the calendar, but really every chance to gather is a chance to go, oh my gosh, we're not headed

to hell anymore. What a wonder it is that Jesus rose. What a wonder it is that we have hope

in life's hardest moments because he rose, can too and that gives us hope over the

grave but also hope in seeing any dead or dormant thing in our life coming to flourish to see fresh

life in a place of death in the name of Jesus that's why we gather on the first day of the week

then it says on that day Mary Magdalene, one of Jesus'

his disciples, went to the tomb early while it was still dark, and she saw that the stone had been

taken away from the tomb. Then she ran. There's excitement. There's jubilation. Thereilation. There's, there's, there's, there's,
