All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of The Teardown.

My name is Jeff Gluck.

I'm along with Jordan Bianchi.

We are motorsports riders for the athletic, and we are here at Daytona International Speedway a little bit later than we thought we might be.

But hey, they got the race in.

That's good news.

And William Byron goes back to back.

First back-to-back Daytona 500 winner since Denny Hamlin in 2019, 2020.

Kind of, you know, despite it being a repeat winner, despite it being one of the top drivers in the series,

somewhat of a surprise because he was running seventh on the backstretch

of the last lap of overtime, the white flag. And then there was a wreck in front of them.

The six cars in front of him disappeared. Byron drove through it. And he is the back-to-back winner.

So just one of those Daytona deals, as we've said before, I guess.

But I guess, Jordan, first of all, what do you make of the race that we just saw?

It was lots of stories.

It was interesting, entertaining, because there was a lot of twists and turns at one

point it felt like this was joie legano's race to lose and he kind of lost it and then it felt for

a really long stretch that it was going to come down to like ryan blaney and baba wallace you

have two best friends who were kind of dueling there and then that didn't materialize And then it felt like this was going to be a team Penske win of some sort,

whether that was Austin Cindrick or Ryan Blaney. And it really felt like they were so well positioned.
