We just had a fantastic turnout at the Martin City Brewing Company and Lee Summit on Wednesday afternoon and into the evening with one of our patron parties

for patrons of KKHI.

And because of my mistake the day before when I sent the patron podcast out, I actually

sent it to everyone for about an hour before I then deleted the patron podcast.

But I think on Apple, it may have still stayed up. I don't know how to pull them back

off of some of the sites that they go to. It's not available on Podbean. It wasn't available

a lot of places. But we had a few extra people show up. I think that heard that, heard where we were

going to be, and that just actually made it even more fun. But I basically owe an apology to all the

patrons for not doing a patron

podcast on Wednesday after Dayton Moore was fired as general manager of the Royals. And that

will be our lead in just a moment. But to be clear, we have so much fun when we get together that

it's a strange thing. We had so many people turn out yesterday in Lee Summit that I've spent

a lot of the

evening last night when I got home and this morning before doing the podcast, sending emails

and apologizing to people for not spending more time with them individually. It is the most

unbelievable feeling and so flattering that people will take time out of their busy day and come by and say

hello and say thank you for doing the podcast and we will talk politics and we will talk Dayton

More, which was the biggest topic at the patron party, which was, you know, it was just an

unusual event. They have Dayton Moore fired. And again, that will be our lead in a couple of

moments. But what an unbelievable turnout. We're going to do an event for all the listeners coming up on October 6th in the Northland. We'll be at 509 Northwestbury Road at the sandbox power play entertainment center area. And we should have a lot of fun. The Broncos play the Colts that night. We're going to have a cornhole tournament.
