because Ryan, after a big recruiting weekend, Tennessee caps it off with essentially another flip.

Yeah, absolutely.

This is an in-state get as well.

Deion Cooper, the athlete from South Pittsburgh High School, essentially

flipping, as you said, from Florida State to Tennessee, decommitted from Florida State

on Sunday right after wrapping up his official visit to Knoxville. And, you know, it's essentially

his mind was set on Tennessee before he announced that but just waited a little while longer to

announce the actual commitment so Tennessee getting a guy wanted all along in state that this is a guy

that they were you know frankly a little surprised to see him commit to Florida State back in early

April at the time because vol seemed to be in pretty good shape and they thought they had a pitch on his side that would line up with what he wanted

to do, which is play wide receiver.

And at the end of the day, Tennessee was able to, I think, take advantage of that

and convince him that Tennessee was the right fit for him on that side of the ball,

doing what he wanted to do. And staying in state i think you know sort of the cherry on top for him but he just felt he always felt

comfortable there always like the idea of playing at tennessee and to see him uh getting uh another

giving tennessee another chance you kind of knew this might end up happening once he scheduled

the official visit, but still had to play it out. And Florida State was recruiting him as a defensive

back. That was sort of the interesting thing about this. You know, you had Tennessee and Oklahoma

State that both hosted him on official visits, liked him at wide receiver. Florida State liked

him in the secondary. And that's just not where his heart was when it came to

the position he wants to play in college. So give Tennessee credit for continuing to stay after it,
