0:07.0	Yesterday when we left off, Stephen had been falsely accused by a group of Jews
0:17.3	from another synagogue that doesn't recognize Jesus as Messiah. Today, as he's
0:21.8	standing before the San
0:22.8	Hedron, they're the ruling counsel that's kind of like the Supreme Court,
0:26.2	they give him the opportunity to defend himself.
0:28.8	But Stephen kind of answers questions the same way Jesus does,
0:32.0	meaning he doesn't give you the
0:33.2	information you ask for, he gives you the information you need to know.
0:36.8	Stephen talks for a long time and doesn't manage to say a single thing about himself in

1:09.9	have acted in the past, they probably recognize the evil actions of their forefathers.
1:14.4	They probably resonate with what he's saying.
1:16.6	But they may not realize he's building to a crescendo, where the greatest burden of wickedness
1:21.2	is the one these very people are legally responsible for.
