0:07.0	Today's reading has a lot in common with yesterday's reading. We recap the first half
0:17.1	yesterday, so today we'll zoom in on the second half. I mentioned this yesterday, but it bears
0:21.8	repeating.
0:22.5	One of the things that helps me through passages like these
0:25.0	is to look at what parts are information
0:27.0	and what parts are instruction.
0:29.0	To figure out which is which,
0:30.1	you can ask yourself questions like,
0:32.0	Is Jesus telling me something God is going to do or
0:34.4	something the disciples are supposed to do, or something I am supposed to do? If he's telling us what
0:39.6	God is doing or what the disciples were supposed to do, it's information.
0:43.0	If he's telling us what we're supposed to do, it's instruction.
0:45.6	But just a heads up.
0:46.7	Sometimes there is a clear or implied overlap of information and instruction.
0:51.7	This is the final week of his life,
0:53.0	and Jesus is talking to his inner circle,
0:55.0	plus Andrew, on the Mount of Olives,
0:57.0	just outside the gates of Jerusalem.
0:59.0	He tells them about how the temple will be destroyed
1:01.0	and Jerusalem will fall to Rome. He tells them about
1:03.7	lots of trials and struggles they'll endure and so far it seems like he's kind of
