0:07.0	It's day 300 for some of you and for the rest of you tomorrow will mark four whole weeks of
0:18.8	being with us in this plan. Congrats to both of you. Today I had to look up Dropsy to see what it is.
0:25.5	Apparently it's swelling like Edema. Today Jesus meets a man who is afflicted with this and
0:30.5	wouldn't you know it it's the Sabbath.
0:33.0	Not only that, but Jesus meets this man when he's invited to a Pharise's house for dinner.
0:37.0	Do you smell a trap, or is the fish just burning?
0:40.0	The Pharisees likely wouldn't have allowed this man in their home otherwise because of how they associated sickness with sin.
0:46.0	Jesus is the one who brings it up.
0:48.0	He asks if it's legal to heal on the Sabbath, as if he doesn't know A the truth and B that they don't believe the truth.
0:55.5	He regularly asks questions he knows the answers to.
0:58.6	They don't respond because now they feel trapped, so Jesus just heals the guy and sends him home.
1:03.8	Then Jesus takes the opportunity to give some insight into kingdom values.
1:07.6	He tells them to humble themselves or they will be humbled.
1:10.6	Humility is coming one way or another. Then he turns to the host and says,
1:14.0	when you have dinner parties like this,
1:16.0	try inviting the poor and the sick,
1:18.0	the people you consider to be sinners.
1:20.0	You might not get any sort of repayment for it on earth,
1:22.0	but that's not the point.
1:23.3	In the long run, that is the path to blessing.
1:26.4	Jesus' statement probably makes things pretty awkward so someone else at the dinner party
