0:07.0	One day Jesus is preaching a public sermon about trusting God and not man about God's
0:17.6	provision when he gets heckled by a man in the audience who appears to have totally

0:22.2	He asked Jesus to settle a family financial dispute,
0:24.7	and Jesus is like, that's not really what I'm here for,
0:27.5	but since you brought it up,
0:28.5	you need to check yourself because it sounds like you might be putting
0:31.1	your hopes in money, and that doesn't go well in the long run.
0:33.7	This question serves as the launching pad for the Parable of the Rich Fool.
0:37.4	It's about a man who has built new barns to hold all his wealth and he preaches the
0:41.7	false gospel to himself being comforted by all his worldly
0:44.6	possessions. Wealth and possessions are blessings but they have to be viewed rightly.

1:03.0	He stored up treasure on Earth, but he did not store up God.

1:11.0	he says to be mindful of the fact that we have no idea when he's going to return.
1:15.0	So he says to be prepared for that.
