Day 276 of Heart Dipe 365. I'm your Bible study friend Kanoi. Welcome to the Heart Dive podcast.

For those of you who are following me on social media, you saw that I was having a whole

lot of issues yesterday. It took me six hours just to get my video uploaded. Every technological issue I could have had, I had. So thank you,

again, for your patience. Sometimes that means that that video doesn't come out until midnight

or even the next day, but thank you for your patience. Today we are in the book of Matthew once again.

We are studying the second chapter, reading from the ESV by Crossway Translation. Yesterday we

read about the birth of Jesus and now we get to move further into the Christmas story with the

wise men going to Bethlehem. It's a fairly short chapter but still lots to unpack here. And so

before we get started, a little bit of business if you could help us out by hitting that thumbs up

And so I pray as we open up your word today, our daily bread,

that you will prepare our hearts, our minds, our ears, our eyes, everything to be able to hear

your word and to allow it to do something within us that is transformative. We don't want to just be

heroes of the word, Lord. We want to be doers. And so as you transform something within our

spirits, God, I pray that you'll give us the faith and the courage to then step out and be obedient

to whatever it is that you have spoken to us, whatever that calling is, whatever that purpose is that

you have. Lord, I pray that we will be in tune every single moment so that we know where to go, what to say, that we will have

discernment and wisdom in every situation, every decision that we need to make, so that we can

apply your teachings and ultimately grow closer to you. Help us to disciple others. That is the

great commission. And so I pray that we will not stay stuck in our little tiny comfort zone,

but that you will move us out beyond the borders, Lord, to be able to reach the world for your

glory. So may this time together deepen our faith and strengthen our walk and equip us to live

in a way that honors you. Please forgive us for our sins. Now I pray that we'll have a clean slate as we read
