Day 207 of Heart Dive 365. I'm your Bible study friend Kanoi. Welcome to the Heart Dive podcast.

Well, we spent the last 39 chapters hearing the conviction and the correction of God upon Israel, upon the other nations.

And yesterday we ended with the announcement of the Babylon

invasion and the people of Israel being exiled out of their land. And today I'm excited because this is

where we start the messianic portion of the book of Isaiah, where it points to the restoration

of Israel after the exile, but also it brings us into the new age. It's prophetic of the future and the fall of the world system or today's Babylon, and that's going to be destroyed.

And so what we're seeing here now is more of a tone of hope.

And some people have even called this part of the Bible, the gospel, according to Isaiah.

So we'll take a look at that, reading from the ESV

this ministry, but also throughout the world. And so we're going to continue that

as long as he allows it. But the most important thing is that we are in the word of God and that we are getting to know him more, getting to know his heart, and building our faith and building our relationship with him. So we're always going to start with prayer. So let's go ahead and do that. Heavenly Father, thank you for this day. We thank you so much for the breath in our lungs. We thank you for the ability to be able to wake up this morning to your new mercies, which are available to us each and every day. We just ask, Lord, that you will please forgive us right now of any sins that we may have committed anything that we have done wrong, where we have stepped over the line, or maybe we have fallen short of it, or even if we have failed

to do something that you've asked us to do, Lord, we want to be able to be in step with you always.

And so I pray that you will reveal those things to us right now, especially if we're unaware of it,

or maybe we've forgotten or grown insensitive to it. There's no other place that we want to be.

Sometimes the enemy might make us think that other things look more exciting, or he will try to lure us into another way of living or into another space where we're not supposed to be.
