Day 177 of Heart Dive 365. I'm your Bible study friend Kenoy. Welcome to the Heart Dive podcast.

0:12.6

Well, I am excited. I'm getting ready to go on vacation. Holly going to be holding down the fort for a couple of days.

0:18.8

I will be popping in and out. I've got a big family

0:21.5

reunion to go to. So I'm really grateful that I've got Holly here to be able to help out and

0:26.0

allow me just to be able to be present and not worry about bad spotty Wi-Fi on Kauai,

0:32.0

trying to rig up my cameras in funky ways. So appreciate your grace and allowing me to be able to

0:36.9

enjoy my family in this time.

0:38.4

But I would love if you all would keep me in your prayers, me and my family and my husband's actually

0:43.1

really sick right now. And so we are praying for a hedge of protection over our health. We are

0:48.0

praying for traveling mercies and just a wonderful time with family. Today we are back in First Kings.

0:54.9

We are going to be looking at some of the evil kings since the reign of Solomon.

1:00.5

And then we'll be jumping over into one chapter of Second Chronicles meeting King Jehoshaphat.

1:06.0

He was actually the best king since King Solomon.

Reading from the ESV by Crossway translation. But before we begin, if you could please help us out, if you are a BSF, hit that roll call button, the thumbs up. And also, if you could make sure you're subscribed to the channel, if you would like to partner with us for the long term, if you are new to this Bible study, we welcome you. Please make sure to check out the show notes or the description box for any information about this Bible study. Or you can go to our website, heartdive.org, lots of information over there, and make sure to comment below. And if you do comment, and if you have a specific question today about something in the video, I would love it if you could please time to stamp it, because sometimes I don't see the comments until months down the road. And if you say something like, why did he do that? I have no idea who you're talking about and why. And I honestly won't have the time to go back and try to sift through the whole video to try to figure it out. So if you do that and even moving forward, if you have comments that are specific to the lesson or the reading or the video, if you can please just add a timestamp. I know a lot of people do that, and so I appreciate it when you do, because it helps me to be able to figure out the context of the things that we are speaking about. Otherwise, no other announcements. We're going to go ahead and pray and jump in. Heavenly Father, thank you so much for this day. Thank you for every person who is here. I thank you,

2:19.5

Lord, that we are able to be in your presence today. We thank you for your word, God, that you spoke

2:25.0

so many years ago, but still holds the same value for us today and even throughout eternity. And so I

2:31.3

just pray, Lord, as we read your word, that we will have good understanding,

2:35.2

that we will be filled with wisdom, that we will have good discernment, Lord, and being able to

2:39.8

interpret it properly. I open myself up, Lord, to be used as your instrument, your mouthpiece today.

2:45.9

So Holy Spirit, just speak through me. I just pray against any errors or mistakes. Please let all of our eyes be open, our ears to hear you and our hearts, Lord, ready to be able to receive whatever it is that you want to speak to us. Please forgive us for our sins, anything that we have done that has crossed over the line, stop short of what you've wanted us to do or has grieved your heart or anybody else's. Lord, we don't like sin. We want to be able to get rid of it, get it out of our lives.

2:51.3

And so we what you've wanted us to do or has grieved your heart or anybody else is. Lord, we don't like sin.

3:08.3

We want to be able to get rid of it, get it out of our lives. And so will you help us do that
