0:07.0	Today Solomon opens by talking to us about how to walk in wisdom to avoid
0:17.1	sin. It seems to involve a lot of careful attention and thoughtful planning.
0:21.3	It doesn't happen by accident.
0:24.6	In Chapter 22, he uses a lot of phrases like,
0:27.6	The Prudence sees danger and hides himself, and guard your soul and apply your heart, and encourages parents to train. and
0:33.0	encourage his parents to train up their children with wisdom.
0:37.0	V specifically says,
0:39.0	Thorns and snares are in the way of the cricket.
0:41.0	Whoever guards his soul will keep far from them.
0:45.1	Solomon encourages us to take care to steer clear of things that will ensnare us.
0:50.1	It makes me want to be mindful of what things take my eyes and affections off God.
0:55.0	What derailes me?
0:56.0	What traps do I fall into?
0:58.0	Speaking of traps, verse 14 jumped out at me too.
1:02.0	It says,
1:03.0	The mouth of forbidden women is a deep pit.
1:05.8	He with whom the Lord is angry will fall into it.
1:09.2	The phrase, he with whom the Lord is angry
1:11.9	caught my attention. So I spent a few minutes looking into that
1:15.2	the deeper meaning of the phrase is something closer to he who is cursed of the Lord
1:20.1	which would of course be the person who is not in relationship with God.
