Well, after that bohemoth of a Psalm, Psalm 119, yesterday or today, depending on when you're

we're getting a little bit of a breather in First Kings chapters three and four. It's a pretty short reading today, but still some good stuff in there, so don't go anywhere. Lord. Thank you for giving us everything we need to be able to endure all circumstances throughout

our day, for allowing us to be alive again,

Lord, and knowing that we still have purpose to serve on this earth. And so I just pray that as we

know that, Lord, that we will understand our charge, that we will know where we're supposed to be,

what we're supposed to do, who we're supposed to talk to, and will you give us the wisdom and

discernment

and understanding that we need, especially from this word today? Thank you for your teaching,

your comforting, your counseling, the way you lift us up, the way you have saved us, you have

redeemed us, you revive us, Lord, give us new life. We're so grateful for you and for what you

have done. We ask that you please forgive

us of our sins, help us to also forgive others, Lord, and please don't lead us into temptation,

but delivers us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and power and glory forever. In Jesus' name,
