0:00.0	Hey Bible readers, I'm Tara Lee Cobble and I'm your host for the Bible recap.
0:13.2	Today we covered eight Psalms.
0:15.5	In our first chapter Psalm 111, there were two words that jumped out at me and reminded
0:20.2	me of what we're doing here.
0:21.7	The first is in verse 2.
0:23.8	It says, great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who delight in them.
0:28.7	You're studying his works and how about you're finding more and more to praise him
0:33.1	about discovering more of his greatness along the way.
0:36.3	And did you notice the word delight in there?
0:39.2	That connects us with the other thing that jumped out at me, which was in verse 10.
0:42.8	It says, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
0:46.4	All those who practice it have a good understanding.
0:49.7	I will continue to point out that the fear of the Lord is comprised primarily of delight
0:53.2	and awe.
0:54.2	And this verse says that viewing God rightly is where wisdom begins and that those who
0:58.5	practice the fear of the Lord have good understanding.
1:02.8	I made a little note in my journal that says, what does it look like for me to practice
1:07.2	the fear of the Lord?
1:09.6	Psalm 112 points out again that delight is one of the components of the fear of the Lord.
1:14.2	Verse 1 says, blessed is the man who fears the Lord who greatly delights in his commandments.
1:19.9	And that word blessed can also be translated as happy.
1:23.4	There's a happiness in this pursuit of God.
