0:13.2	After today we only have three more days of Psalms, so if you're enjoying these days,

0:20.8	It won't be much longer for you.
0:22.7	Today we open with Psalm 131, which is another one of the Psalms of a sense.
0:27.2	These Psalms, the Israelites, would sing when they were going up to Jerusalem three times
0:30.3	a year for the festivals.
0:31.9	And as a refresher, they're called the Psalms of a scent because Jerusalem is at a higher
0:36.3	elevation.
0:37.3	So no matter where you're coming from, you go up to Jerusalem.
0:41.4	I'm just guessing on this, but it seems like David may have written this song of confidence
0:46.6	during a time of uncertainty in his life.
0:49.7	Maybe he's confused about all the things that are happening around him or why they're
0:53.1	happening.
0:54.1	But either way, he resolves to trust God with the things he does know and leave the unknowns
0:58.8	to God.
1:00.1	One of the things he does know is that God is sovereign over it all and can be trusted
1:04.0	with the outcome.
1:05.7	When David reminds his soul of this, it sets him at ease.
1:10.2	Whether that's where David was coming from or not, this song can certainly serve as
1:13.6	a comfort to us when we're in that place.
