0:13.2	We covered seven Psalms today.
0:15.8	One of my favorite parts about Psalm 43 is how David preaches the gospel to himself.
0:20.4	He's struggling and he feels far from God, but he speaks from Minder's of the truth to
0:24.3	his own soul in verse 5.
0:26.7	Why are you downcast, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me?
0:31.1	Hope in God, for I shall again praise him, my salvation, and my God.
0:37.1	David tells his heart and mind what to do.
0:40.0	This is exactly the kind of thing Moses told the Israelites to do in tough times.
0:44.1	To remember who God is and what he has done.
0:46.8	David is putting Moses' words into practice hundreds of years later.
0:51.3	In Psalm 44 we see that David is even relying on the things God has done for his ancestors,

1:17.4	In Deuteronomy 8, Moses addressed the second kind of prideful thought by saying, be

1:27.6	You shall remember the Lord your God for it is He who gives you power to get will, that
1:31.7	He may confirm His covenant that He swore to your fathers as it is this day.
