Become aware of others who have been hurt in a similar way you've been hurt. Express your compassion towards them.

Compassion visualization.

Day 2: AFFIRMATION: 

"I honor you."

Day 3: EARTH INHALE BREATH

Inhale: Visualize sending loving compassion to someone in need. Exhale: Release emotional wounds.

Day 4: DYANA MUDRA

Inner contemplation that leads to compassion. Place your right hand gently on top of your left hand. Touch your thumbs together. Place your hands on your lap.

Day 5: CHAKRA FOCUS:

Your fourth chakra is located at your heart. Visualize the color green surrounding you. The element is the expansive quality of air.

Day 6: COMPASSION FLOW MEDITATION:

Combining the week's techniques

Day 7: WEEKLY REVIEW MEDITATION:

Closure with a review of the week's highs and lows.

As I did a little research for this week's series, I came across an interesting golden

This has to do with compassion forcing you to ask yourself to look into your own heart, to discover

what gives you pain and then refuse under any circumstance whatsoever to inflict that

kind of pain on anyone else.

It's difficult to experience compassion for situations that you can't really relate to very well.

You know someone might be going through a difficult circumstance, but unless you've been in that same

circumstance, it's really difficult to have the same kind of empathy. You sympathize with the person

that they're going through a difficult time, but you don't really know what it feels like.

Well, compassion is you knowing what something feels like and being able to support someone who is going through a similar painful experience that you've gone through.

And of course it's important to practice compassion, to practice imagining yourself
