Otherwise, let's go ahead and pray and prepare our hearts and jump into it. Heavenly Father, we thank you so much for another week beginning. Lord, we want to begin and end everything with you.

And so we start this day, this week, praising you, thanking you, giving you all of the glory for all that you have done, for who you are.

And I pray that everything that we do this week, Lord, will reflect that. I pray that our hearts will be postured with gratitude so that it shows, Lord, in our actions

and our words that we speak in the way that we treat others. Please forgive us of our sins,

where we have fallen short, where we have crossed over the line, where we have hurt you or hurt

anybody else. I pray, Lord, if we can reconcile in any way, if there's anything that we can do

to make it right, I pray that you

show us what that is. If we need to make restitution even, Lord, to make something even better

than it was whenever we first encountered it. I pray that you will show us how to do that. Help us to

forgive others as well, Lord, so that we do not hold anybody captive, but especially so that we

do not keep our hearts under the bondage

of unforgiveness and bitterness. Give us this day our daily bread as we open of your word. I pray that

you will continue to minister to our hearts, Holy Spirit, open of our eyes, ears, and hearts to be

able to hear you and understand you clearly. We love you so much in Jesus' name. Amen.
