We thank you, Lord, as we head into this weekend that you are going to continue to prepare our hearts for what is ahead. We thank you, Lord, that you are going

to give us everything we need for this day by opening up the daily bread and speaking to our hearts

personally. Holy Spirit, we welcome you and ask that you will please minister to us through this

reading today. We know that it is meant to nourish us. We are here for a time such as this. It is not by accident that we are here

on this day at this time. And so we just thank you, Lord, that you have ordained this space and this

time for that. Thank you for this community of believers, Lord, people who love you, who just want to

honor you and know you more. I pray for continued unity within this group, also within our Facebook group, and just for the church as a whole. It is our heart, Lord, to be able to unite the church and not divide it. And so I pray that we will do our part in being able to do that. Forgive us of our sins, Lord. I pray that you will help us to forgive others. And may we lay down every single burden right now so that we are not carrying a heavy load into this place. May it be one that is set apart for you and you alone as we worship you and love you and honor you. In Jesus name, amen. So chapter 11 is a continuation from what Moses was speaking in chapter 10. And so we start off here in verse 1. You shall therefore love the Lord

your God and keep his charge, his statutes, his rules, and his commandments always. And consider

today, since I am not speaking to your children who have not known or have seen it, consider the

discipline of the Lord your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his outstretched

arm, his signs and his deeds that he did in Egypt, to Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and to all his

land, and what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses and to their chariots, how he made the

water of the Red Sea flow over them as they pursued after you, and how the Lord had destroyed them

to this day, and what he did to you in the wilderness until you came to this place, and what he did
