0:43.5 | or you can head on over to our website, heartdive.org. But before we get into the word today, |
0:47.5 | we want to prepare our hearts by praying. So let's get started. Heavenly Father, |
0:53.4 | thank you so very much for this day today. We are so grateful to be able to just have breath in our lungs, to be able to see, to hear, and to be able to come into your presence. Thank you, Lord, that every time we draw near to you, you draw even nearer to us. We're so grateful for the invitation that you've extended to us, so we accept it with gratitude. And we show up today, Lord, with hearts ready to be able to hear your word. And so I pray, Lord, that we will be open, that our soil will be tilled and will be ready for your seeds to be planted, to be nourished, to be cultivated, and to bear fruit. Forgive us of our sins, Lord, anything that we have done that has hurt your heart or grieved your spirit. And I just pray that you will help us to make it right if we are not |
1:27.8 | aware of the things that we have done. But we will say with all honesty, Lord, that we want to live our lives in righteousness and for you. And so I pray that you will help us to do that, guiding us by your spirit every single day. Help us to also forgive others, Lord, because we know that in doing so, we are able to not only set them free, but set ourselves free from that bondage. |
1:27.7 | So we love you so much. |

2:01.8 | your God. So notice that we are covering all possible items of idolatry, including images, |
2:08.3 | pillars, and figured stones. And remember, the word idols actually means nothings. And even though |
2:14.1 | idols are powerless in the material realm, they are still very powerful in the spiritual sense. |
2:19.3 | And modern day idolatry doesn't look like carved images or pillars or figures of stone. |
2:24.8 | They are anything that takes the place of God in our lives, anything that we put before him or make more important than him. |
2:31.0 | And so because Satan knows that he has lost the battle on our souls, |
2:35.0 | he's going to do everything he can to try to distract you with some sort of idol in hopes that |
2:40.1 | he can at least slow you down or try to diminish your ministry. Verse two, you shall keep my |
2:45.8 | Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary. I am the Lord. If you walk in my statutes and observe my commandments and do them, |
