This week's episode of the Recovery Show is an open talk by Dawn C. I really got a lot out of this talk. So here's Dawn.

My name is Dawn and I'm a grateful member of Al-Anon.

And I want to thank the committee in Harlan and Sam for allowing me to come back. My

children said, why did they ask you to come back? They said, well, maybe this time you'd get it right.

You know? And I'm so privileged to be here with Theresa and with Stephanie,

who are the loves of my life, who have transformed me and changed me on the journey. I'm so

grateful for that. And Harlan and that kind of introduction this morning, you

know, kind of like, come on who are we talking morning, you know, kind of like,

come on, who are we talking about?

You know, there's another way to get people to come back to an

out of our meeting.

We don't have to lie.

It's not that I'm not.

It's not that God hasn't gifted me with certain gifts and trying to share the message, you know, but I've heard some much better speakers than myself, you know? And the way God has always kept me in my place, I was

speaking somewhere and for some moment, you know, I had this, I had gone in and I really

thought I looked nice.
