Summary

If you Google 'Davinia Taylor' you'll likely find one of two things at the top of your search results: images from the early Noughties of Davinia swigging out of a bottle of Dom Perignon or a more recent one of her looking overweight, swollen and uncomfortable. She was the ultimate IT girl but years of excess had left her feeling terrible.

Determined not to feel sluggish, foggy and slow one single day more, Davinia committed to turning her life around one tiny change at a time. What started with a cold shower to boost her dopamine levels started a deep-dive investigation into the other free hacks she could use to shake off a feeling she hated and instead feel energise, vital and motivated. It's been a journey and it's one she shares here.

What's worked for Davinia might not work for you but what is absolutely undeniable is how committing to making positive changes, one at time, might be boring and the opposite of a 'quick fix' but boy, does it work!

I'm thrilled to have Davinia back on the show because her unrelenting energy and enthusiasm to be better and feel better is infectious.

Davinia's books are available here and her supplements are available here.

Do you have a look back then? It was just like, say, my immediate click of friends at the

time that got sort of like the backlash. I mean, we didn't really have any positive

0:16.7

press whatsoever. I mean, I've always struggled with a pop belly, particularly back then.

0:22.9

So no, low slung jeans weren't an option. And obviously, I sort of best made for supermodels.

0:27.9

Yeah, and I think there was just kind of like a messaging out there where it was kind of like girls

0:31.7

or ladec culture. And it was like, you know, you can show the boys how it's done sort of thing.

0:37.2

So it was kind of like, maybe in me, I wanted to prove a point to everyone.

0:41.1

It wasn't really, I'm actually completely different from a six four rugby player.

0:45.8

Obviously, however, you know, I'm still going pint for pint with them.

0:49.8

My friends actually said, what the hell are you doing?

0:53.6

I don't fear that much. I seek results. So the over, yeah, so I seek results more than I feel

1:01.9

the fear. Do you know what I mean? So that's probably my motivator. Again, I'm seeking action

1:08.1

as usual because I hate being bored and I hate to stand still.
