Over the past few weeks, gas prices have climbed higher. The stock market has sunk lower.

There are ongoing concerns about rising inflation and

slumping vehicle sales. I'm not the only one who probably feels that all of the sudden

things feel shaky. Joining me on today's podcast to discuss the effects of that uncertainty on

transportation and mobility. I am happy to welcome David Wausner.

David is an investor and advisor at his firm Future Of. He's previously worked at local motors and in the mayor's

office in the city of Detroit. As a result of those experiences, Dav is a guy who knows exactly what it takes to balance the promise of new technology

with the realities of implementing it at scale across industry and communities.

And he has a terrific sense of how new technology and pilot projects will fare as the

tectonic plates of the global economy are shifting.

You know, I've been hoping to have this conversation with you for a couple months as you know,

and it strikes me this morning that we would have had a very different conversation in February or March than we will have today.

It could be the economic landscape out there has obviously changed.

What is your 30,000 foot view on the volatility?
