I'm okay, surviving. Trump

presses mute on free speech. Trump presses mute on free speech. You had a great New Yorker

magazine cartoon cover on this one. You want to describe the cartoon visual for the radio audience first?

Well, it's very one month ago, it almost feels. You know, it was in the wake of the whole Jimmy Kimmel incident, and it shows a hand that's distinctly

the president's not a very big hand with a remote control in it. instead of showing channel one, two, three, and so on,

it shows silence, mute, stifle, and so on.

And, you know, while Jimmy Kimball has been returned to the airwaves,

I think it's just very evident

that this precedent has an unprecedented view of the press and free expression.

And he is in a very, very concerted, sophisticated, and I would have to say, ruthless ruthless way has gone about putting pressure on

the press in a way I've never never seen in my lifetime certainly you know I

when I was a kid there was Richard Nixon and he would steam in the in the in the
