He has conducted cultural anthropological and archaeological fieldwork and research in the United States and Palestine, Egypt and Yemen. He is a founding member of the Network of Concerned Anthropologists, and a frequent contributor to CounterPunch.

Today's citizenry acts so surprised when counter-narrative experts and those with criticisms of power are pushed out of the digital conversation.
