I were actually putting this on the beginning because some big news dropped today.

Danny demanded to do at least a 10 minute segment on the big news the day and then after this Kevin

Pelton will join us to project the 2017 draft. But Danny, what is it? What happened? Why must we talk

right now at this moment? On the one year anniversary of the Cleveland Cavaliers when their first title

title win, they announced that David Griffin and the franchise will be departing and the biggest

issue here is the timing, both broad scale and narrow scale. Yeah, let's make two no two ways about

it here. Dan Gilbert completely screwed over David Griffin here. If he wasn't going to pay him,

now of course the reports from Mick Metamon said, oh, there's a difference in the direction of the

franchise. That would be a surprise to me. I'm guessing this is about money because Gilbert is

paying a bunch of money already. And he also has demonstrated many a time that he does not really value

the GM position. I think that a lot of people have said that. He probably should value the GM

position because David Griffin did an outstanding job in Cleveland, both in terms of manipulating the

salary cap, although Gilbert, why here's some of he like kind of gives credit to some of the

underlings there more than he does Griffin. But nonetheless, like Griffin is executing these moves.

He's got great relationships around the league. Highest character guy never heard anyone say a

single bad thing about David Griffin. And so Gilbert, if he wasn't going to pay him, how about

you let him interview or at the very least, you can just say, hey, we're going to part ways at the

end of this time. So Atlanta, maybe you can hold off or Milwaukee, the day after Milwaukee introduces

John Horst. Now all of a sudden, it's not going to work out with David Griffin or Orlando is all

would have been very interested to talk to Griffin as well. Now he's screwed. He can't go any of

those places. He's probably going to have to sit out for a year. And he's not sitting out a year

like he got fired because his contract just came to an end. So he's just going to have to sit there.
