I'm joined by a man who seems to have spent the last week watching soccer matches, talking about soccer matches into a microphone, and hanging out with Bobby Warshall. It's David Goss. Because I think I thought he was going to be like a ruthless competitor.

And he can be, but he seems a bit more laid back than I would have expected. Are you expecting like gladiatorial combat when it comes to tennis? Are you thinking something more laid back? Let me, this is the best explanation of Bobby ever. And it came up in a men's league game last week afterwards. He used to play on my team. He no longer lives in New York, so he doesn't. And one of the guys I play with who's a really good player was explaining him to someone. And he said this. He said he has the most positive way of digging a knife. And for example, if I'd play a pass behind him, he'd look at me and go, James, you're better than that. I know you're better than that. And he's like,

it hurts, but it's a compliment like no other. And that's what I anticipate. Uh, yeah, I'm familiar with the, the compliment knife twist. That's, that is definitely a Bobby signature. Uh, that,
