Coming up on today's episode of the podcast, listeners with long memories might actually

remember way back in December. We had a conversation with Finkelvich Daniel Finkelstein and David

O'One of it, you can hear them on Tuesdays, about the influence of David Davis on British

politics. We discussed whether there was even a doctoral thesis in the influence of David

Davis on British politics. Well, it's taken us a while, but this weekend marks 35 years since

David Davis became an MP. So we'll hear from him on. It's a little sort of life in times

of David Davis. The ups and downs and his transformation from rebel to minister to whip to

rebel to cabinet minister to rebel again and everything else in between. So that's going

to have some big thing. In a moment, we'll have the columnist panel. But first, as it's Friday,

let's take a look at what we learned this week. We learned at the start of the week that

several toy MPs over the Jubilee Weekend had had enough booze. The Dean Doris knew who

we should be thinking about. The Conservative party donors have said themselves that they

are all going to support the party if the Prime Minister has removed. Yeah, never mind

the parties and the fines and the lies. Well, somebody just think of the donors. We

learned that when Tory ministers said that no more than 100 MPs would vote against the

PM, their maths wasn't very good. And the voter games was 148 votes. We learned that

Tory MP Adam Holloway carries his eye pad around so he can complain about news nights,

graphics. This program that I'm on now was shown pictures of him looking like Hannibal

Lecter at the beginning. We learned from Dominic Rab, the key cabinet line to take. I think

we draw a line in the sand after this vote. But is that sand on a beach? And if he's at
