I'm Bex and I'm joined by writers Eve and Joe from The Week Junior,

the magazine Making Sense of the World for 8 to 14-year-olds.

David Attenborough's 100th birthday, and whether it's okay to wear smart glasses.

But more on that later. In this week's magazine, there is a feature about a new musical magic show called Rabbits Out of the Hat,

which starts touring the UK this weekend. And it got me thinking, what is your favourite magic

trick, Eve? Sometimes we have a few magic tricks going on in the office. And our art director,

Dave, does this trick where he has a two- coin and a two pound coin in his hands.

And then the two P just completely like disappears.

And I don't even know how to, but it blows my mind.

And I quite often just say to him, do the magic trick so that he could just show me again.

Because it's so cool.

But yes, I do now know how he did it because he told me, but I won't reveal, never reveal a magician's secrets, especially on a podcast. Absolutely not, but I do appreciate it. He's a man of many talents, Dave, isn't he? Mm, he is. Every time he tell me something about him, I'm like, he's so literally got tricks up his sleeve.

I know. Fascinating. We'll get him on the podcast one day, I'm sure. One day he'll come back. Joe, how about you? I quite like card tricks, especially ones that rely on Slight of Hand, because it really feels like something I couldn't do. So like when sleight of hand is involved, it's not like I could do the trick if I'm being, I could do the trick I'm being shown if I followed certain steps. I just wouldn't have the skills to do it in any way, shape, or form. And also a bit like the coin trick, you're often shown card tricks at quite close quarters. So for me, that maybe in some ways makes it even

more impressive than if you're sort of at the back of the arena and the magicians on the stage

in the distance. I do love a card trick. They feel like I could do them, but then I know I can't.

I've tried before and then not for me. I interviewed Stephen Mulhern last year, who listeners

might know from ITV, and he's done a lot

of magic in his time. He released a book all about magic and teaching people magic tricks.

So I think it's okay to say this one because he himself has written it and put it in a book.
