But you can't finish at the moment you're thinking of it.

Yeah. it's like, look, what's got your attention that you, at some point, think you need to decide or do something about, but you can't finish at the moment you're thinking of it. You walk into your kitchen and say, wow, I got a bunch of spices that are out of control. Or you walk into your office and go, oh, my God, you know, I've inherited an office that's not cleaned up, it's still got a bunch of, you know, crap from the previous guy who was in this office.

Or you walk into your life and say, gee, I don't know if I want to be married to this person or not.

Or you walk out of your balcony or your porch and see there's a light burn out.

Any of those are things that have your attention.

It will start to spin inside your consciousness unless you

either finish them in that moment. But if you don't finish them in that moment, that spin won't

stop. And so the idea is to be able to externalize some trigger of what those things are that some

part of you trust you'll see soon enough that your brain gets to let it go.

But it won't do it otherwise. And you can fool me, but you can't fool your own mind. If you told yourself, I need to change that light bulb or I might want to get a divorce, those things will wake you up at 3 o'clock in the morning and take up about the same amount of psychic space, which is kind of weird. that is weird yeah but it's true because true because that part of you, that part of you in your psyche, when you're just filing it in your head, that place has no sense of past or future and it has very little sense of priority.
