Hey, hey, hey, short rounds of bets and burners. My name is Doug, and this is Doug Lozminis,

the show that sprained its big toe a few days ago, but is trying to put the inconvenience of it

in perspective because a friend of mine died from cancer last weekend.

Coming to you from the H to the Q on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016,

rest in peace, Dave Anderson, co-host of A.M. Northwest in Portland,

who lost his two-year battle with pancreatic cancer on Sunday.

A great guy and a longtime friend, you've probably heard the stories before,

especially if you live in Portland and watch AM Northwest.

Dave and I were roommates for a brief time,

and then he moved to Portland, and every time I visited Portland, I would go on his show that he co-hosted with Helen, who is bravely soldiering on without him. And they did a great tribute to him yesterday.

I'll be back on that show the next time I'm in Portland, I think, but it's not going to be easy.

I'll probably lose my shit.

But I'd like to do it because all the people working on that show are great

and we all love Dave.

The show must go on, as they say.

I'll be competing on at midnight tonight on Comedy Central

and every point I win is dedicated to my old friend Dave.

Wednesday night I'm doing Douglas movies in Sweet Home San Diego at the American Comedy Company.

Thursday I'm taping Nikki Glazer's new Comedy Central show Not Safe with Nikki Glazer,

which will air the following Tuesday.

Getting Doug with High goes live this Friday, I hope. Not sure what time yet.
